Eating healthy age appropriate foods is important so you have the required nutrition and diet for your growth, also having regular meals throughout the day to stop grazing and having evening meals at the table with the family are ways to also teaches children healthy eating habits to carry on throughout life.
To help support the growth and energy that children need to have a healthy childhood, they need to get certain amounts of calories from food. How much they require will change as due to the child’s age and height, there gender and growth rate and one of the final requirements are is the level of activity of each child.
