Identify and evaluate the national and local initiatives that promote children’s exercise.

There are national and local initiatives that encourage exercise in both children, parents/carers. These local initiatives are really important because they offer support for people to find out ways to improve their children’s health and well being , and to participate in  activities in their locality. All  these organisations have the same goal which is get children playing outside and moving around. These organisations are  also great because they inform people who aren’t aware of what is required for daily exercise, with advice on ways to improve their health and well-being.

The change 4life website is good as it has tips for parents, also how to find local activities in your area. Both Play England and Forest schools are good and important, as they are encourage teacher, parents/carers to take the children outdoors and experience things that can’t be achieved within the walls of a classroom
